Overview
Students will be able to make a sphere and other forms out of newspaper and secure these to a cone with masking tape.
Materials and Tools
- Cardboard cones
- Newspaper
- Masking tape
Activities
Step 1
Look at puppet examples and identify possible shapes for a body and head. Discuss three-dimensional shapes.
Step 2
Demonstrate making a newspaper ball for a head and taping into shape. Attach to cone.
Step 3
Have students follow steps to make a head for their puppet.
