Overview
Students will look around the room to find and draw a variety of lines. They will decide where to place the lines on their paper to make an abstract drawing. Then students will take a 2nd piece of paper and connect their lines to invent organic shapes.

Materials and Tools
- 12×18 white drawing paper
- Ebony drawing pencils
Step 1
Students will draw a variety of lines that they see around the room.
Step 2
Students will decide where to place the lines on their paper to create an abstract line drawing.
Step 3
Students will connect lines to invent organic shapes, and they will come up with a name for their favorite one.
