Overview
We will select one main color and two additional colors for highlights. Students will be able to use large and small brushes to paint their clay tiles.
Materials
- Clay tiles
- Paint in cups
- Water cups
- Sponges
- Foam trays
- Large and small brushes
Activities
Step 1
Discuss color contrast and highlights.
Step 2
Demonstrate choosing colors to paint the tile and making a pattern with color.
Step 3
Demonstrate washing your brush in between each color use.
Step 4
Have students paint their tiles.
