Course Policies

Time Commitment and Feedback: 

  • Time Commitment: Each course designates specific time requirements. Please ensure you have the availability to meet these requirements before enrolling. 
  • Feedback: Instructors will provide feedback on submitted assignments within 5 business days. Please ensure that all assignments are submitted on time for timely review. 

Course Participation and Completion Policy: 

  • Course Participation: Applicants are expected to actively participate in all course discussions, activities, or assignments as outlined in the syllabus.  
  • Course Completion: Participants must complete all course requirements within 30 days after the course end date. After this period, access to the course materials will expire, and no further work can be submitted.

Technology Requirements and Support: 

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology to access course materials, including a reliable internet connection and updated browser. 
  • If applicants encounter technical difficulties that prevent them from accessing course materials, they should contact digitallearning@studioinaschool.org within 24 hours of the issue. We will work to resolve technical issues promptly. If the issues cannot be resolved, we may consider a partial or full refund based on the circumstances and at our discretion. 

Code of Conduct: 

  • Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. Disruptive, offensive, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course without refund.  
  • Participants commit to approaching all course activities with integrity, including being truthful in assessments and honoring the confidentiality of other participants’ contributions. 

Copyright and Plagiarism Policy: 

  • All work submitted by participants must be original or properly cited. Plagiarism, including the use of AI without disclosure, is prohibited and may result in removal from the course without refund. 

Modification Rights Clause: 

  • We reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, or instructors as necessary to enhance the learning experience. In such cases, participants will be notified of any significant changes. 

Continuous Improvement Clause: 

  • We value participant feedback to continuously improve our courses. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to provide input, which we review to enhance our future offerings. 

Intellectual Property and Content Access Rights:

  • All course materials provided are the intellectual property of Studio in a School NYC and are for personal educational use only. Unauthorized distribution or reproduction of these materials is prohibited. Access to course content may remain available for up to 30 days after the course end date, after which access will be closed.
