Overview
In this two-part lesson, students will draw a two to three-object still life from observation using value and compositional strategies in pencil.

Objectives
Students will learn how to:
- draw multiple objects in space using basic forms
- create compositions using different strategies (2/3s, central, diagonal, triangle)
- use mapping and measuring to draw objects in proportion
- isolate a composition with a view finder
- create visual textures
- apply directional values and textures to create a sense of three dimensionality
